I am trying to find the recipe for a popular Taiwanese dish served in Southern Taiwan in the night markets. It is called 'turkey rice'. Can you help? Please email me.

My wife is from Chai-yi, Taiwan and I know the dish you speak of it is called Chai-yi Chicken Rice. However chicken is not used but turkey. My wife makes it on a regular basis and it is great. I don't know exactly how to make it but I know some parts. First you boil a turkey breast. After it is done it is cooled off and shredded. The sauce is a mixture of Soy sauce, fried shallot, and I am not sure what else. The shredded turkey is put over a bed of white rice and the sauce is drizzled over the turkey. It is very simple dish, but very delicious. When we are back in Chai-yi we always stop at that most famous place that makes the dish. I am going to try to have my wife write down the sauce recipe.
